Let me continue from the last min christmas feast/party in my house.
Apart from the gambling which is the oh-so-usual kinda thing, we had this grandchildren and great grandchildren performing night. This idea came out from small aunt who thought of having something new during christmas. And it's kinda a competition thingy. And grandma is the judge.
So we all form into little groups and started to think of our performance. So my group was made up of brother, cousin wj, jeremy,cuifen jie, johnathan,keng kor,joycelyn,lingling and zheming. A super mixed variety grp and we sang hokkien song since that's grandma's love. The rest of the bigger cousin they dance while some acted and sang. Damn funny. I didn't know my family could be like this. And guess what, despite our last minute practice, everyone did well and really really enjoyed ourselves. Most impt, grandma gave everyone angbao as a form of prize/reward. Thanks grandma! Love. :))
Uncles and aunts all enjoyed themselves as well. They watched and laugh like there's no tomorrow. Seriously. Everyone left my house with a great wide smile on their faces. Super happy christmas. All goes to small aunt's cheeky idea which kinda stunned us for a few seconds after she suggested that. LOL. But we decided to go all out since what's a family.
